After many years of faithful service, my trusty coffee grinder has abruptly ceased operation. Can anyone recommend a good shop (in Tokyo) to look for a replacement?

  1. Electric or manual?

In both cases I would recommend rakuten :)

      Electric.

(And call me old-fashioned, but I like to look at things before I buy them.)

I call that "practical" and not old-fashioned.

If you insisted on a manual grinder, I might be tempted to call you old-fashioned.

Robb have you been to the coffee shop in kappabashi?
it's on the corner off the main road, i think it's this one Union Coffee Roasters:
          http://www.kappabashi.or.jp/shops/162...

i would assume their prices to be reasonable and they have a wide selection of coffee tools.

          (btw huge fan :))

            I'll check them out.

            (And thanks!)
