Knife sharpening: Queens

Not sure if this is the right forum , but wondered if anyone had a recommendation for a good knife person in queens. Have a set that's well overdue .

  1. Must it absolutely be in Queens (I'm assuming NYC)? Korin offers sharpening services in Tribeca, which would be a trek for you, but would likely be worth it.

Actually, that's reasonably convenient to my office. Thanks for the suggestion.

    2. I agree with Cynic. If you want really good knife sharpening, then Korin is a very good choice. However, many knives do not require that high level of sharpening. Korin knife sharpening does cost a slightly more. $15 per Western knife.

      1. We take ours to The Meat Hook/Brooklyn Kitchen in Brooklyn.
