Chinese groceries?

Can anyone recommend a good Chinese grocer in/near North shore of Nassau County? I am mainly in need of sauces and Chinese sausages.

  1. Can't speak for Nassau, but there are some big Asian markets on Horace Harding in far eastern Queens, just a minute or so from the border with Nassau.

    1. H Mart (Great Neck, Williston Park) is Korean-owned but has lots of Chinese products. Similar: K & Y on Old Country Road in Hicksville. Better still, V & T at 12 N Franklin St in
Hempstead, best Asian market on Long Island.

Did well with produce at H & Y last week.

      2. We use WinLing In Ithaca Ny if you are ever doing a wine trail thing in the Finger Lakes.

No need to go that far from Nassau County for Chinese groceries!

        2. Thanks everyone! Went to V&T in Hempstead and found the Chinese sweet sausage I was craving. Also got some Chinese candies/sweets I haven't had in years! ;-)
The place is big and has a huge selection of Chinese groceries that H Mart doesn't carry. They had a decent selection of Thai and Hispanic groceries as well (but sadly no Kaffir lime leaves!).
