Snow pea tips

Has anybody seen them in places other than T & T? - primarily looking in Vancouver and Richmond.

    Young Bros Produce on Broadway in the same block as the old Hollywood Theatre had them on the weekend.

      You can also try Rice World on Garden City. Store name is misleading, they sell a full range of products incl. fresh meats, veggies/fruits, etc.

        I've been there LR, but not recently. I'll give it a try. Can't believe I pay $15 in a restaurant for something I can make just as well at home.

          Many larger Chinese green grocers will have them too.

          Yeah that dish commands a premium in restaurants. Same goes for tong choy/ong choy:

            There's a small greengrocer in the same mall as Ningbo that often has really nice ones for a decentish price. Also Richmond Public Market downstairs.

        visited price smart foods near grandview highway, they sell pea tips for $3.99/ lb
        i recommend to grow them since theyre so expensive, i have some growing in my backyard garden at the moment
