Avenue, has it really gotten that bad?

Or is it just me. Service was terrible - slow and had to remind them multiple times to get items, much of the food was hardly warm and almost uneatable, some of the food was just ok. I have had much better food and service at chains like Brio in freehold. Seems it should just be the opposite of that.

I have always said; "Avenue is a night club first and a restaurant second". I have never been a fan of this place from the time it opened. I'm sure it the quality will continue to go down, while their prices will continue to go up. Too much better in Long Branch than to be bothered with Ave.

I think that you would have a great time at Happy Hour!

$7.00 top shelf martini is a great deal for that place. While I have never been there for Happy Hour, I have closed the club on many an occasion.

That's way past my bedtime, but sounds like fun!

I haven't been up there in probably 3 or 4 years but I'm sure the pool is still up there. They are still operating the pool/beach club so I can't imagine they could or would get rid of it.
