11th ANNUAL CASSOULET DINNER AT LUCQUES
What a wonderful meal!! This was great food from beginning to end,
-First course: salad of young greens, saint agur, walnuts, banyuls and wildflower honey. Every flavor was distinct and beautiful.
-Cassoulet: duck confit, pork confit, garlic sausage and white beans.
This was the most satisfying dish I have had in ages. Each element was cooked perfectly.
-Dessert: gascon almond cake with roasted apples and prune-Armagnac ice cream
Warm, friendly service. Restaurant was sold out days ago and they sold 100 Cassoulets for take out. Patio area has been remodeled and is so warm now with comfortable banquettes along the walls.
