I am going to the Tenement Museum and will finish there at noon today. Then will head up to work at 1 St.
Any ideas for a place to eat something light nearby and/or take out food for then or for the day?
No constraints. Thanks!

The Meatball Shop is two blocks away on Stanton and is pretty cool, especially for lunch.

Dudley's, about a minute from the Museum, does a really good cheese toastie.

I was going to say Dudley's. I think the new Irving Farm coffee shop is doing some food, and I'm also partial to El Rey on Stanton which has just rolled out a light lunch menu.

Pretty far, given all the other good options in the immediate area.

Agree but doesn't hurt to mention. The falafel obsessed in me would walk the extra 5 mins for good falafel, plus it could be on the way for the OP

Too late for today, but punjab deli (hole in the wall open 24/7) is great for take out and always full of cabbies. Menu changes daily:

Thank you so much for the recommendation of Punjab.I've passed it so often but never went in. It is really in my work backyard. I will definitely go.
