Food near Mayo clinic

It seems like everything worth trying is out in Minneapolis, but I'll have to be in Rochester near Mayo clinic for a week. Any recs out there, since I won't have a car? I like everything from hole in the wall places to pastries to good mixology to fancier food. Thanks in advance!

Rochester, Minnesota recs are suppose to be under the Great Lakes Forum and you can probably find some discussion there.

We drive through Rochester frequently on trips to and from La Crosse but rarely stop there. If we plan to stop anywhere we often then take the River Rd along the Mississippi. The only time we stopped in Rochester was to try a burger at Newt's once. It was pretty good for bar food.

It's been a while since I spent a lot of time in Rochester, so the only recommendation I have for sure is Chester's.

The best restaurant I've had the chance to eat at is Pescara. It's a seafood focus, but they also do a nice job with steaks:

Victoria's will fit your Italian needs if that's more your desired cuisine:

If you like BBQ, John Hardy's does a nice job.

Chester's is also a worthy choice as ChillyDog mentions.
