Three of us had a great dinner here on a recent cold Sunday night after a visit to Kittery Trading Post. We made an early reservation and there was only one other table occupied when we arrived, but it filled up nicely the time that we left. Good start with the bread; crunchy crust and chew inside. Two of us began with the parsnip soup and one with the blue cheese soufflé. The parsnip soup was absolutely delicious with the fragrant essence of parsnip and roasted onion oil. Mains were pan seared sea bass, braised short ribs and mussels with basket of frites. Loved my short ribs, very tender, and mussels were reported very good as well. Loved the frites, super thin and crispy. Service was prompt and attentive. Had a good table by the window. Look forward to returning.

We love Anneke Jans but haven't been since last year. We live in MA and make the trip a few times a year. Thanks for the reminder!
