Home Cooking Dish of the Month - Nominations Thread for March 2014

Welcome to March nominations threat! After tasty wintery dishes, are we going to make something springy for March or stay with comfortable foods? I quickly looked at previously nominated dishes and there were many great ideas: stuffed pasta, quesadillas, grain salads, and paella all are appealing to me.

Please use this thread to suggest and discuss dishes to make in March. Indicate you are nominating a dish by writing its name in ALL CAPITALS keeping in mind that for the purpose of this thread dish is defined as INGREDIENT + METHOD OF PREPARATION.

This thread will be open until 6pm EST on Sunday February 23rd when the nominations will close. Dishes with the most number of nominations will move to the voting stage.

If you have not yet participated in the Dish of the Month, it is never too late to join in! We have a lot of fun and make many new discoveries.

                I'll second THAI CURRIES - maybe that will convince me to delve into my copy of Thai Food, since we can't seem to get it nominated for COTM for love nor money!

                        We do, and with regard to B's comment below, I sure as hell HOPE the snow will be gone come March.

                        I would assume this means things like stuffed shells, ravioli, tortellini... right?
