Does anyone know the recipe for Red lobster Cargo Colada

I had it this weekend and I really want to know how to make it. The menu which is not online had the description but still need help on how it's made.

  1. Not having tasted the RL Special Cargo Colada, from the description it sounds a lot like this:

    Brand-specific, middle-shelf rum and a dusting of nutmeg seem the only variations.

    If someone comes up with the secret recipe, fine; otherwise, this should get you started. Just how bad can experimenting with Rum be? :)

        That's the "sidecar" of Amaretto - not sure why they felt that was necessary.

          Maybe we can get the LA restaurants to put vermouth in one of those for their Martinis. ;)

            Not entirely necessary, but it does add to how yummy the drink was. You should try it. So, so good!

        2. I work at red lobster. It's 1 1/4 ounce rum. 1 ounce banana flavor mix. 1 ounce pina colada flavor mix. And 1 ounce pineapple juice. Sprinkle nutmeg on top

                Of course now you have to find where you can get artificial banana flavor mix and pina colada flavor mix... And source the cheapest rum.

                  Does 5 o clock make rum...i think the pvc flavoring the "liquor" leaches from the bottle would be perfect in that drink! :)
