Is Anyone else on Pinterest? Let's follow each other!

Hey guys, I would love to follow some other CH users on Pinterest, if you don't feel comfy posting the link feel free to PM me ( if that's even possible on here lol, I"m not sure). Anyway, here is my link: I have lots of things pinned including many things that I've pinned from other sources, not just repinned, so you should find some recipes that you're interested in :) I pin frequently but don't have many followers and I wish I had more because I love to share recipes that I've found and amazing recipes that I've tried and have had success with!

          1. I hope other hounds will share their Pinterest info so that people can follow each other, rather than just following the OP.

I have two boards that would be of interest to hounds:

I also have a third board of pins I've actually tried, rather than things I've just pinned because they're interesting. It's not all cooking related, but mostly is:

I have a similar board... actually two to your "tried" board... tried and liked and tried and wouldn't make again.

I used to have the wouldn't make again board called "tried and hated" but then the blogger author of one of the recipes I put on there left a message on the pin and sounded kind of offended, so I changed the name to something nicer haha!

I particularly appreciate people who have boards where they specifically pin things they've actually tried. It helps me sort out the things that are really practical from the things that only turn out in fancy blogger land.

Yeah I found it helps me out when meal planning too... I like to try new stuff all the time but sometimes I need a "tried and true" recipe and don't want to search through my individual boards to try a recipe I'm remembering in my head.

yeah haha, i need to do that, mine are kind of mixed together at the moment :/ i'm still trying to figure out the best way to organize mine

I completely reorganize mine every few months. :p I'm pretty sure it's annoying as hell for the people following me, but I haven't found a setup I'm happy with yet.

                  2. re: Jacquilynne

You all have inspired me. I organized my recipes yesterday into things I want to try and things I liked. If I tried it and didn't like it, I deleted the pin. I'll try to keep up with this. It's a good idea.

wow, such a great idea to categorize the recipes that way. I have just been organizing them via main ingredient.

Oh I do that too for ones I haven't tried yet. Helps w/ meal planning too since I'll know I want to use, for example, pork tenderloin, so I can go to my pork board to pick something out. But yeah, having the "tried and liked" board is super helpful. I just move them vs repinning them after I've tried out the recipe, and I also like making notes about changes I've made, calorie counts, and future tweaks.

                    Love your board Jacq!
The artichoke roasted garlic dip looks fab.

Kudos to all..such fantastic boards with great ideas and the pics are stunning!
