Buffalo Wild Wings, Panera Bread, and Smashburger. *yawn* We will never patronize any of them. There was a rumor from years ago that there would be a Cracker Barrel in there. Now THAT would have been interesting.

  1. I was actually hoping for a California Pizza Kitchen so I wouldn't have to drive to Summit or Philly for their delicious Mediterranean salad.

Too many Panera Bread locations in NJ as it is.

And there is an Atlanta Bread right across Rt 37.

No, I do not see myself patronizing any of those but I am sure they will do well.

      BWW is the worst.

Cracker Barrel would have been great for the seniors. It would kick butt by the Costco in Brick.

    2. I do believe a Cracker Barrel is coming to Rt. 9 Freehold. Not too far away.

Couldn't find anything online about Cracker Barrel coming to Freehold, except for another thread on this board. I saw this about Toms River.

Cracker Barrel likes locations along the highway that are easy to get in and out of. They are popular stops with bus tours for that reason. Not enough people driving through are going to want to exit the Parkway to get on 37. And if they do, there's too much competition.

"Cracker Barrel likes locations along the highway that are easy to get in and out of."

I would think that would eliminate most of NJ!

You'd think that Shop Rite location would be ideal for Cracker Barrel then as it is literally right next to the Parkway. The only other things in that immediate location are Atlanta Bread and The Office Lounge.

Yes but the traffic there is horrendous. Although the traffic on Rt 130 is not any better.

When we head to Philly we travel via Rt 130 and the amount of building going on along that long stretch of highway is pretty incredible. The Cracker Barrel right before the ext to NJ I've never been to but I think one day I should just to say I experienced it.

      2. ... and Ocean County forges ahead in its quest to underwhelm. Sigh.
