Girls night out - HELP

yummyinmytummy Feb 12, 2014 04:46 PM

There are 6 of us. Would like to keep to $75/100 a person. We are not that picky of a crew.

Location: Venice, SM Culver City, BH, Weho - NO DOWNTOWN.

We are in our 40s...want someplace fun, but someplace where we can hear the conversation.

TIA

How early do you want to begin? How late do you want to be out?

Eveleigh http://www.theeveleigh.com/ for one or AOC http://www.aocwinebar.com/index.html or Bar Marmont http://www.chateaumarmont.com/barmarm... perhaps.

Bar Toscana in Brentwood. It's a little small, but it's a very nice and lively scene. That's where my lady friend and her 5 out of town girlfriends went for their last dinner/drinks out. They liked the excellent cocktails, very nice (not cheap, but easily in your price range) food, and, according to them, the easy-on-the-eyes Italian gentlemen tending bar.

Bar Toscana is a great choice and they accept reservations

I thought that place was a bit loud, no?

my group of girls often meets in the lounge at Cafe Del Rey in marina del rey.
we sit on the couches in front of the fireplace. it's like sitting in a living room.
they offer a happy hour bar and food menu that is available until closing along with a small selection of happy hour drinks.
in addition, you can order off of the regular menu even if you are sitting in the lounge area, and they also have a very good regular wine-by-the-glass selection.
last night, a starter and fish dish from the main menu cost $40 before tax and tip.
i also had an inexpensive glass of wine from the happy hour menu.
validated parking is $4, but i always add a little more for the valet guys.

              Thanks everyone.

I think we decided to go to The Wallace in Culver City.

I will let you all know what we thought.
