Red Ginger on Decarie

naturelle Feb 8, 2014 02:30 PM

We want to take the family with a baby for supper tomorrow night at Red Ginger.
What's been your experience? Another thread on Red Ginger Delivery was not too positive. But what about the food?

I live in the neighbourhood and my one visit was enough. Better to get in a car or on the metro and head to Chinatown or Chinatown 2.

Thanks for the heads up. What about the Korean restaurant on Sherbrooke and Claremont called Le Maison de Seoul?

I've been there once and always get something during the annual sidewalk sale. Pretty good food, no complaints.

One of my go to places in the neighborhood, I'd definately recommend it. Great food, nice little place, BYOW. There's also one on the corner of Decarie and Sherbrooke called Maru, super good and super friendly too, owned by the nicest little old couple and their menu has a fairly different share of items, more soups. They're both really great.

If you like Korean, the best bet is probably Maru on Sherbrooke and Girouard. The spicy beef soup is not to be missed.
