Nice brunch recommendation in Midtown?

  • 8

My whole family (party of 7) will be taking my sister out for brunch to celebrate her 50th birthday. Any recommendations for a nice place fitting for that special day, which is still comfortable and relaxed?

    1. What do you consider midtown? Yonge & Bloor? Yonge & Eglinton? Yonge & Sheppard?

      1. I had brunch at Earth Rosedale a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it. I think it would be nice for a group - spacious seating, beautiful room, attentive service, but not stuffy.

        1. "School" is a really nice restaurant. They have awesome brunch menu.

They do have awesome brunch! But I don't think they take reservations, and it gets pretty busy on the weekends, so it might be difficult to accommodate 7 people.

            Plus, it's not midtown.

          2. Left Bank Bistro (Sundays only) on Avenue Rd or John & Sons south of St Clair. Terroni at Summerhill is another option.

My experience at School was horrid.

              Great recs prima.

As for School, it isn't popular among CH's. Luckily, I've only had great experiences there.

              'Lil Baci is another option.

                +1 for 'lil Baci's brunch.

Rosedale Diner also serves brunch. Have been meaning to revisit, since it's been ages since my last visit.
