Cassoulet in Lower Westchester?

Just learned that my favorite French place in Brooklyn (Quercy, on Court St), closed and, having been missing their Cassoulet dearly, I'm wondering where to get one around here. Any ideas?

  1. Not lower Westchester, but Tagine in Croton-on-Hudson has cassoulet.

    1. Encore Bistro in Larchmont ( has it, but I've not tried it. Bistro Parisien in Eastchester doesn't appear to have a website, but they may have it ((914) 337-8447).

The menu at Encore looks really nice. How is the food, generally speaking?

Nothing spectacular, but worth a try. They are good about accepting feedback, so if you go and are displeased, don't be afraid to say so.

      2. I had a good cassoulet at Bistro Rollin in Pelham. I enjoy cassoulet but don't order it often so take the rec for what it's worth but I believe its worth a try. If you do, please post. I'm interested to hear your opinion.

        1. Club Car in Mamaroneck has it.

          1. I have tried botht he cassoulet at Encore and Rollin. Encore's was exceptionally good. It actually encouraged me to try making my own a few weeks after. Rollin's was very disapointing, dry, with fatty meat. It actually tainted my experience at Rollin, which I used to really enjoy.
