Cassoulet in Lower Westchester?

mayfair Feb 6, 2014 01:04 PM

Just learned that my favorite French place in Brooklyn (Quercy, on Court St), closed and, having been missing their Cassoulet dearly, I'm wondering where to get one around here. Any ideas?

Not lower Westchester, but Tagine in Croton-on-Hudson has cassoulet.

Encore Bistro in Larchmont (http://www.encore-bistro.com/dinnerme...) has it, but I've not tried it. Bistro Parisien in Eastchester doesn't appear to have a website, but they may have it ((914) 337-8447).

The menu at Encore looks really nice. How is the food, generally speaking?

Nothing spectacular, but worth a try. They are good about accepting feedback, so if you go and are displeased, don't be afraid to say so.

I had a good cassoulet at Bistro Rollin in Pelham. I enjoy cassoulet but don't order it often so take the rec for what it's worth but I believe its worth a try. If you do, please post. I'm interested to hear your opinion.

Club Car in Mamaroneck has it.
