Bars w/ food near Lorimer Stop, Williamsburg

  • 7

I rarely go out around there, but I gotta meet my cousin tonight. And we won't want to walk more than a couple blocks, because it is gross out there.

We're looking for a bar that serves your basic food. Good bar is more
important than great food; not too expensive; not too loud & crowded. Huckleberry is the only option I know of, and I think I only bookmarked that because it has a back patio.

Thanks for your help!

  1. Commodore has great fried chicken (and chicken sandwich). Food is pretty cheap, drinks are good.

      Second Commodore.

The chicken sandwiches are great but be sure you order them medium hot with sauce on the side,

Okay, cool, thanks. Might just try that.

Update: Commodore was packed! Jeez. We ended up at The Lodge, which was fine, and then the Knitting Factory for drinks. Now I am hung over.

ha! sounds like a true Williamsburg experience.

        2. Do the alcoholic milkshakes at Momofuku Milk Bar count?
