Is my Sitram rondeau fixable?

After storing this rondeau at my parents place for the last 20 years, I just noticed some "pitting" on the bottom of the pot in 2 places. The damage is not very deep but I'm not sure if it's still usable.
Any help/tips would be much appreciated.(sorry for the crappy photos in advance)

  1. Hi, petek:

    Fixable? Kind of.

You're not going to be able to add SS back into the pits. But there's no reason you couldn't tin the inside of the pot.

Frankly, unless you're getting signs of delamination, I would just carry on cooking in it.
