Rest his Soul - Henry Pryzbys - Quality Seafood

FYI folks: I have consulted with Chef and Fish Monger Henry Pryzbys over all things "water-food" and his recipes for 9 years at Quality Seafood. Over oysters there Saturday night I found out he died as some sort of complicating combination of a bad bout of rheumatoid arthritis and St. DAvid's during recovery from a hip surgery gone badly. He was much too young. Apparently an investigation is going on about what happened at the hospital. But nonetheless, we've lost a really gentle souled friend in the food business in Austin.

  1. So sorry to hear that! I've been meaning to check out Quality Seafood for years. Ironically, my first visit was last Friday. My condolences to Family and friends.

      1. thanks for letting us know. He helped me out several times over the years. i'm sure the whole family there is in mourning.
