We stopped at the Corner Grill in Bowling green. I had the crawfish, like little poppers, and hubby a good breakfast. Such nice people. The cook made up a special remoulade for me as I had asked if they had any.
Heard from a Miami student that The Spot in Sidney is another place we must visit.

So looking for a place around dayton or West of Dayton you stop at Bowling Green. Hmm. Not a bad choice, though. If you liked the atmosphere of the Corner Grill, you'd like The Spot, which has an inside eating area as well as a car hop area. Wilson's in Findlay and K's in Troy are also similar.

If you ever have to do this again, every place recommended to you by rainsux is worth checking out. And Maid Rite's exterior decor is nationally famous.

I am honestly humbled by the omission. Hamburger pickle on top makes the heart go flippity flop. Or something like that. The location off of I-75 is not as good as the one downtown, as you have noted, but it's still a place any regular Ohio I-75 traveller should check out.
