L'aragosta, Ardmore

Has anyone been to this newish BYOB on Cricket Avenue? I didn't even know it existed until a random woman mentioned it while we were walking out of a movie. There's a complete lack of even semi-decent Italian in this area, so I'd to know if it is worth trying. Thanks!

I think Fraschetta counts as more than semi-decent Italian, though in my book it's overpriced. Given that it's on the main line, that's not surprising.

But I haven't been to l'Aragosta yet. I'll check it out sometime...

I've actually been somewhat avoiding Fraschetta. I'm not enamored with the menu and it does appear over-priced, but the main reason is the noise. My fiance is deaf in one ear and everyone who seems to review the place, regardless of their thoughts on the food, seems to agree it is very loud. It just makes for a difficult dining experience for us. I may try it on a weeknight, though.

Did you ever try this restaurant? How was it?

I haven't yet. The yelp reviews have been varied so it keeps falling off of my radar, coming back on when I am debating a dinner out, and then falling off of my radar again. It's so close that it seems worth trying, but I hate being disappointed and I fear this will be a disappointment. I'd love to know if others have visited, though!
