Baltimore birthday dinner rec?

aaamanda Jan 31, 2014 03:35 PM

I'm looking for a birthday dinner rec in Baltimore for my mom's birthday tomorrow (Saturday) It will be either 2 or 3 people, not a big group.

Top priority is the food. I'm really looking for knock your socks off good food.

Looking for a place where the majority of entrees are $25 or less.

She's fairly adventurous, so it doesn't have to be only old people food :)

Any part of Baltimore is fine.

I was thinking about Salt Tavern-- anyone been there recently? I wanted Woodberry, but they are booked completely solid. I guess no Greek or Mexican.

Heelp? Thanks all!

I know this reply is late, but Peters Inn is always great.

Check out Fork and Wrench and see if the menu floats your boat. I can tell you the cooking is good.

Three of us had a negative experience at Salt recently (see post). Enjoyed the new Scoozi, but the only knock-your-socks-off place I know at this price is the inimitable Grace Garden. Look at the posts to justify the journey.
