Recs for BBQ joint serving "dinosaur" (long beef ribs) in Boca area

Howdy Hounders,
Love those 'Flintstone' long beef ribs.
I've occasionally found the bones in supermarkets but haven't had great success cooking/rubbing/slow roasting/grilling them so looking for a place that offers them either a sit down place or somewhere selling good prepared ones.
Any ideas?
Boca area 15 mile radius preferred.
TY

  1. I would like to know where beef ribs can be found.....

Way, way back in the day.....we would go to Sizzler for all you can eat beef ribs......and eat a bunch of them!!

    I do smoke them occasionally myself....and they're a treat....

    1. Try Bru's Room-several locations in the area.

      1. Brus no! If there were any in the u.s I'd be surprised.Texas maybe.Even short ribs are hard to find.Buy them at meat market or publix and bar b que if not at home at one of many parks in south fla. T.y park?

        1. No clue about Flinstone's but 10 minutes south of Boca is Blue Willy's BBQ if BBQ is your craving.

          1. BARNIE!!! best sugestion buy the ribs publix whereever go to the bbq place that has a pit etc... that you like the way they cook compliment them to death then ask them if you pay them and bring the ribs in will they cook them 100% YES try it good luck post if you try!!

            1. I think the Wagyu beef ribs at Red Cow would qualify. I had one that was slightly overcooked and so a little on the dry side but the rest of the batch was lip smacking good!

                  How is Red Cow?

I ran into the chef the other night, on his night off, in a great local FtL restaurant (HS).

So I know now, if nothing else, he knows where to eat when he's not in his own place!

(Red Cow is affiliated with Coconuts G&B Oyster Bar, and Foxy Brown).
