Post matinee at Proctor's in Schenectady

Hi, we're heading to Proctor's for The Book of Mormon and were wondering where we should go to have dinner. The show ends about 5ish and we'll be heading back to the Berkshires. Open to anything, although beer is something we are always interested in. Any price range is acceptable but we would prefer something a little more than Wolff's Biergarten. Thanks!

Nothing better than the beer at The Bier Abbey on Union Street.
You just may never make it back to the Berkshires. Food is a step up from pub food.

There is also a decent brew pub in the Van Dyck Lounge, also on Union St. (closed Sunday

I think Tara Kitchen may have been byob. Not positive.

Thank you, FDR, after I posted, I thought I remembered a wine list on the back of the menu. Most likely I'm recalling a different place I was at later that day or shortly thereafter that was byo.

Second Tara Kitchen. It's small, reservations are a MUST.

Cella Bistro. They are closed Sunday and Monday.

Pinhead Susan's if you want a casual, Irish pub vibe. Check out their beer list first :)
