Hi! Any suggestions for a good group spot for brunch in Jackson Heights, other than Jackson Diner? Trying to figure out where to go for brunch with a group of 8 to 9 people, as lots of the places I love are a bit too small for such a group. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

La Fusta can seat 8-9 and opens at 12pm. They have a lunch menu that might work for you.

La Fusta does not open early on Sunday...I think 2 or 3 pm...you might want to try La Flor, which could accommodate if you call ahead, and they open at 9 on Sunday, and have a brunch menu. La Flor is on Woodside, but close to Jackson Heights.

Dosa Delight on 73rd is open by 11:00 or so and can seat large parties. I think it is quite good.

I agree, you can also go to JAX Inn dinner in Northern Blvd..
If you can venture to Astoria, you have many choices...

The Colombian places open early since they serve breakfast foods as well as other larger plates. You could try La Pequeña Colombia on Roosevelt and 84th Street. They have a large, recently renovated space with accommodations for large groups.

Brunch is actually pretty challenging in the AM. You might try Tulcingo on 83rd http://www.yelp.com/biz/taqueria-tulc... - they have a big space, good food, and drinks.

Otherwise, there's dim sum down in Elmhurst.
