Best Vietnamese places with beer in the SGV

MissBubbles Jan 28, 2014 04:10 PM

So been starting to discover all the many culinary delights that pepper the SGV. It seems many of the Vietnamese places that are highly recommended don't serve beer. (the Chinese & Taiwanese places seem to have beer & wine more often). The DH very much loves a cold beer with his spicy food.
I wonder if you could send me your fav Vietnamese places in the SGV that serve beer. Open to all types and price points. Bonus if they have wine but not necessary.
Thanks in advance!!!

Thien An - very good food and very cold beer.
Bring your own wine, no corkage fee.

Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for. So many of the Pho & other soup places don't seem to have beer though. Any thoughts on just showing up at a hole in the wall with your own? We do that at our little local Korean place and they are cool with it.

I think most canto/viet/seafood restaurants have beer. (E.g. Seafood +[noun] Restaurant)

            Newport isn't Vietnamese.
