Any word on Zoe's in Cambridge?

Spurred on by the recent Thailand Cafe themed post, I went by Zoe's location in Cambridge hoping to see if anything was going on, but sadly it's still all boarded up with tarps covering the top of the facade. I was wondering if anyone knows if they will ever reopen.
Thanks

In December they posted on their Facebook page "Repairs are underway! We're not sure when it will reopen yet.". As you mentioned, the outside is boarded up, so it is tough to know what has been done inside. Zoe's is actually in Somerville.

Yes of course Somerville, small brain fart. I'm sure with this cold weather outside brick will have to wait, but now waiting impatiently for their return.

My flatmate called the other day, not knowing that it was being renovated; surprisingly enough, someone answered and told her that they'd be open in March. (Quite a surprise for her, considering she was expecting an answer more in the realm of '5:00'.)

Good to know. It still looks sad and boarded up. I was wondering if they were working on it. I wonder if the other place (breakfast place? I can't remember) will reopen as well?

According to a cashier at the liquor store next to Zoe's, they're set to reopen in about three weeks!

This may be the best news I get all day! Never thought to ask in the liquor store. Pho n' Rice folks have not known anything when asked.

That's great news! I was wondering (and hopeful), since I noticed the scaffolding was down last time I went by and the new window said Zoe's on it.

Last time I passed by Zoes, the boarded windows were gone. Looks like there is a new coat of plaster/paint on the facade too. Even the Mixtura side had its boarded windows removed. Its looking good.

I just noticed that Zoe's listing is now back up on Foodler, so I'm guessing they've re-opened! Definitely the best Foodler Chinese option in Cambridge/Somerville, that's for sure

Yep, after ordering JoJo Taipei last night, I thought of Zoes and called out of curiosity while waiting for our JoJo delivery. Sure enough, they were answering the phone. Next time!

Oh interesting. I drove by them yesterday, and the door was still a plywood board. I guess looks can be deceiving (or maybe they're not ready for sit-down service?).

That is interesting. I spoke with a woman very briefly on the phone and said I was just calling to see if you they were open and would be calling to order soon. I think she replied okay see you soon (could have been we open soon I guess). Admittedly there was a bit of a language barrier going on and I was surprised just to get someone on the phone. There could've been misinterpretation on my part, but I definitely did call and speak with someone at Zoe's yesterday.

That's what I've been seeing as well. Plywood on the door and stuff piled inside. Last time I looked (a few days ago) it looked like it hadn't changed much over the past week or two. I hope they really do reopen soon!

foodler says they are not available for delivery today or tomorrow.

I called last week and spoke with them. They were waiting on a city inspection. Sounded like it'd be a couple weeks.

I've been keeping an eye on Foodler, and today was the first time it appeared to suggest they'd be open (the listing no longer says "closed today" and "closed tomorrow"), but I just called the restaurant and was told "a few more weeks."

I would guess at least that long. It doesn't look like anything's changed, at least from the outside. The door is still boarded and there is still equipment (ladder, etc.) apparently unmoved inside.

We called them last week and the woman who spoke with us also indicated a "couple of weeks."

Drove by tonight full of optimism, but indeed, the plywood is still up.
