Mid-week lunch near North Andover

Visiting Boston for the first time in January 2014. A colleague has arranged for a field trip, to a museum in North Andover. We may be looking for a late lunch (2-ish?), enroute to Back Bay.
Please make recommendation for inexpensive (under $20 each) and casual, with a varied (if not extensive) menu. Other than prefer not pasta, I have no specific food-ish requests, as I'm not familiar with my companion's food preferences. Thanks in advance.

  1. Yella in Andover would fit the bill. There is also a Burtons in North Andover.

    1. Joe Fish, on Rte 125, for excellent seafood, Harrison's, rte 125, for a good roast beef sandwich., Bertucci's for ok Italian, pizza etc and also the 99, for simple American, on rte 125 as well. Lastly, Shadi's, on rte 125, for excellent middle eastern, they may be open for lunch.

Harrison's is an absolute dump. I love it. Their roast beef is excellent. Just know it is less than nice inside.

I personally like Phil's roast beef in Andover, less dumpy and better beef IMO.

      2. I would recommend Jaime's Restaurant on High Street. Great food and nice atmosphere in an old converted mill building.

        1. Thank you for all your replies! I appreciate having choice :) Will remember to report back.

          1. Shadis in North Andover is always good Middle Eastern Cuisine and they are open for lunch. I love Burton's Grill in North Andover...it is American cuisine, great bar, and always great food, service etc. Enjoy!
