Vegetarian Friendly Celebration Dinner in Brooklyn

esgray10 Jan 25, 2014 03:51 PM

My vegetarian husband recently got his master's degree, and I'd like to take him somewhere fun and a little fancy to celebrate. Our budget is $100 or less (including booze and tip). Ideally we're looking at Bed-Stuy, Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, Greenpoint, or Williamsburg. For points of reference, we really like Speedy Romeo and Sud (they're both in walking distance for us). Found Do or Dine disappointing. Looking for something new!

is it $100 for both? Buttermilk Channel has a nice vegetarian menu. You could get some good stuff across the street at Frankie's too. Vegetarian dining is tough in Williamsburg/Greenpoint because meat is so cooool these days. Zizi Limona could work, but it's not fancy. We love Glasserie in northern most Greenpoint which has plenty of vegetable dishes.
