Neopolitan Pizza in and around DC

With some help, maybe we can compile a list of Neopolitan pizza joints.

I'll start with those that I go to:
Pupatella
Orso
Il Canale
2 Amy's

As between Pupatella and Orso, I prefer Pupatella's pizzas. I haven't been to Il Canale in quite some time but it's generally pretty good. 2 Amy's - not worth the hassle of getting there and finding parking but the pizzas are good (just not better then the former 3).

Da Marco - I've only been once. I heard the qualify has fallen off.

Menomale and Pacci - never been.

Please add other Neopolitan pizza joints that I missed and rank your personal favorites.

Here's my list (of the places that I've been to more than 5x)

    Menomale
    2 Amy
    Paradiso
    Il Calanle

    Some comments:
    - The gap between Menomale and the others is pretty wide.
    - Pardiso could probably make it on the list based on its bottarga pizza alone.
    - 2 Amys edges out Pardiso because I think it makes the best margherita in the district.
    - Never been to Pupatella (hardly ever get out to Arlington much when I'm in DC unfortunately)

The answer to your question is Menomale. Go there and you will find what you are looking for.

I guess Etto qualifies too. I haven't been to Red Rocks in ages but if there's one near me I'd probably go check it out. I haven't been to Ghibellina or Etto (anyone care to compare the two?).

Etto's better than Ghibellina, by a mile. Though this is based on only one visit to each.

We the Pizza is not Neapolitan.

              It's not even "Neopolitan-style".

I really wanted you to finish the post with "It's not even pizza."

We the Pizza is actually quite bad, IMHO. Not as bad as his burgers, but still bad.

Mia's is good but very pricey. Da Marco's is a better value. Oh, and Haven's pretty good.

Forgot about Al Dente, and presumably the Alba Osteria does pizza in the same style.

I've actually had very good pizzas at Al Dente, nearly as good as Pupatella.

For no frills, and good value, I like Pizza CS in Rockville.

I like Menomale, but it's not for everyone. The "wet" centers can be a turn off for some people. All Neapolitan-style has this to some degree, but I think it's a bit more pronounced at Menomale.
