I will be visiting LA and I am interested in dining at Musso & Frank's, as much for historical interest as for wanting to have a great (or even good meal). I am wondering if it is possible to dine sitting at the bar/counter, similar to what is at the Tadich Grill in San Francisco.

Yes. They have a counter that's perfect for solo dining. I imagine you could also sit at the bar.

If you sit at the actual bar, they usually only serve drinks there. (and the policy is usually pretty strict)

You can have a drink at the bar and then move to the counter to consume food and have more drinks.

      Of course.

      That's it's raison d ĂȘtre.

There's a huge counter in the grill room which is also where I eat 99.9999% of the time.
