Soft Serve Ice Cream

  • 6

Ice cream. Not yogurt.

Clarification out of the way, with the Big Gay Ice Cream about to debut here in LA, I'm wondering what other options for soft-serve ice cream there are in LA?

The most recent threads on the topic date back to 2011 and 2009, with suggestions that have since closed (Malibu Ice Cream in Westwood), and some old stand-bys like Strickland, Farmer's Market, etc., and some that are just forgettable (e.g. Fosters Freeze).

Any others?

    and the McDonalds dollar menu.

    1. The Sweet Rose on Pico has good soft serve (only 2 flavors at a time though).

        1. Pitfire, Straus. EOM.

          1. Technically not ice cream but my favorite soft serve is custard from Bruxie. They only have 1 flavor but its delicious. The sundae with waffle cone, caramel and peanuts is fantastic. The soft serve is rich and creamy with an excellent consistency.
