Opening in the same shopping center as Carmike Cinemas off Chapel Hill Blvd (I think thats the street name). Where Golden Coral and Chinatown Buffeet (right?) use to be.

Mami Nora's is a wonderful Peruvian rotisserie chicken joint.

They got their start in north Durham off North Roxboro St and expanded to add a Raleigh location a couple years ago. I vouch for this place 100%.

@BF - As for the upcoming Morrisville/Cary location you're referring to is at 9545 Chapel Hill Rd (Highway 54 East) in Morrisville. Its the Park Place shopping center at the intersection of NW Cary Parkway and Chapel Hill Road.

The new Mami Nora's location in Morrisville will surely become one of my regular lunch haunts since it will be fairly close to my office.

I've now been away from the Triangle for years (in CA) and still dream about Mami Nora's rotisserie chicken. It's simply the best there is.

      2. And it is cheap for what you get.

        1. It's where the Bear Rock used to be - on the corner of the strip, to the right of the Food Lion.

            Is it open yet?

              No, it isn't.

          2. This is fantastic! I moved here from DC about 6 months ago where I used to have 5 pollo joints within 2 miles of my house. I have seriously been jonesing.

I just drove past the new Mami Nora's store in Morrisville and there were people inside eating and the "open" sign on the front door was illuminated. It seems that I'm about to start eating more chicken during my lunch breaks!

            2. Just came back from lunch at Mami Nora's in Morrisville. For those already familiar with Mami Nora's there's not much to report except that the place is very clean and has DAMN GOOD CHICKEN!
