Corner Bakery Cafe (Princeton)

  • 5

It is located in Market Fair Mall on Route 1 in Princeton.
It is part of aa chain.

We ate there last Friday.

Most similar to Panera Bread and Cosi.
But unlike them, they offer more breakfast choices than just pastries.

The combo deal with the 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup was similar to Panera's in portio. The 1/2 sandwich and mixed green was not. My mixed green was on small 6" plate. Panera's is in bowl.

Similar to Cosi, they bring the food to your table. Unlike at Cosi and Panera's they have buspersons clear the table, so there are no garbage stands.

I'd say they have a slight edge in food quality compared to Panera or Cosi.

They were packed last Friday. We were told it was like that since they opened. I suppose people are looking for slightly higher quality of food yet not have to tip.

  1. They're all over in Texas. I've eaten at cc a few times and never thought much more than a better Panera.

Yes - it's closed. Will be new home for The Mighty Quinn BBQ. I'll take that trade any day.

Considering that the news had Red Lobster losing business, a "better" Panera may be the trend these days.

      3. went for breakfast this morning. In a word - yuck. Anaheim scrambler featured luke warm eggs, cold limp toast and cold taters. All American scrambler was more of the same. Coffee was very good but overall not worth the $22 we paid.
