Great Sushi near the DFW airport?

I'm meeting a friend for sushi near the airport - can anyone recommend a great sushi bar?

I usually go to Sushi-Sake in Richardson so don't know of any good places on the other side of town.
:)

Thank you.
Anu

Quick update - We ended up at Blue Fish.
    -Nice lounge atmosphere.
    -The Ahi Tower was fantastic.
-The sushi and sashimi were fresh.

I have to say though, Sushi Sake beats this place hands down for food, atmosphere, presentation, knowledgeable staff.
    :)

I will try some of the other places mentioned in this thread when I'm in Irving again.

Blue Fish / Midori Sushi / Other?

I have been to Blue Fish in Allen but still prefer to drive to Richardson to Sushi Sake. Didn't see too many options near the airport.

You just can't beat Sushi Sake for freshness and, the most comprehensive selection of sushi and authentic Japanese food in Dallas. That's why most visiting Japanese businessmen eat there.

          I agree.
          I love Sushi Sake.
The chefs are fun and the presentation is awesome as well.
But I really cannot come back to Richardson from Ft Worth. :(

There are some good options in FW better than what there would be close to the Airport. If you have to eat close to the airport.

There is Mr Max and Hanasho both right close to each other at Beltline and Rochelle in Irving.

            FW Options:
            Shinjuku Station

Mr Max isn't quite a sushi bar even though they serve a limited selection of sushi. It's more Japanese comfort food.

If you are used to Sushi-Sake, you'll probably find Hanasho a disappointment.

I saw on google maps that there are quite a few places close by in Grapevine and Coppell, but I haven't been to any of them. Maybe someone else has tried some of these places?

              Lava 10
              Edohana Hibachi Sushi
Daan Sushi Asian Bistro & Bar
              Zushi Wok & Grill

What makes a great sushi bar for you (rolls, nigiri, sashimi, specials)?
