Escoffier Diaible Sauce
I found an old cookbook from the 60s that often calls for this item as the ingredient. What is it?
Appears to be a bottled sauce that is no longer made (was first made by the Escoffier family, then looks like Nabisco made it for about 80 years). Here's an old CH post that lists the ingredients in the bottled version.
