Friday Night Late-ish Meal

I have to pickup my daughter from SEA at 7:30p on Fri. Looking for a late-ish dinner place between SEA and our downtown hotel Renaissance (Madison/6th). Won't need to check-in as I would have arrived earlier in the day.

I like foie gras, oysters. She likes onion soup and scallops.

What would be a good option?

  1. Well, you can do onion soup and oysters at Le Pichet or Place Pigalle in the Market area, but not sure who would have all four.

Unfortunately though the recent posts aren't very positive about Maximilien.

i have always been more than pleased with the food and service at maximillien - may I suggest that you purchase some scallops earlier in the day (uwajimaya?) and send them back to the kitchen upon your arrival to allow the chef to wing it.

      2. Loulay has everything except scallops. Several other fish/veg options.

ipsedixit - I would go to Aragona too - but not for the food the poster is asking for.

              I know.

But OP is looking for something that just doesn't really exist in/around Downtown Seattle.

One place that does come to mind is Place Pigalle, but I've never been impressed with that place. More view than food.

RN 74 and Mistral Kitchen each appear to have everything requested but onion soup.

I think it's a matter of going to one of the places mentioned in this post and hoping that the missing item may be on special, or otherwise [gulp] trying something new.

I can't really agree that "OP is looking for something that just doesn't really exist in/around Downtown Seattle." What the person appears to be looking for is a French/-inspired bistro/brasserie that is open past 8:30. Many of these have been identified.
