I'll be in London next week and am looking for some recommendations. I will have two breakfasts, two lunches and two dinners, and wouldn't mind some good pub recommendations thrown in. I'll be staying in South Kensington, but am willing to go anywhere in the city for delicious food! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you used the board's search facility to see what has already been said about South Kensington?

As for reccs in other areas, then how about Tangawizi in Twickenham. Very decent Indian with something of an East African spin to the food.

I don't know where you're from, but I like Balthazar in Covent Garden for lunch. If you're from NYC, forget it. :-) Another interesting menu is to be found at Kopapa in the Seven Dials area. I really liked their soft-shell crab burger. They also do brunch.

I like Maggie Jones for lunch - portions are huge and satisfying and reasonable prices too! www.maggie-jones.co.uk/‎ - seriously one plate is easily for two!

I also like the buffet salad bar downstairs at Whole Foods www.wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/kensi... - upstairs is a bit pricey but take your buffet lunch upstairs because it's a lovely space.
