Hoiw good is he? I have a hard time watching him so far, he's a little "on" for my taste, and the show is a little forced-manic.

Also, why can't they raise the damn camera up to deemphasize the fact that his nostrils are bigger than his eyes? Your view is right up his nose! It's the reverse equivalent of the female show hosts wearing the scandalously low-cut tops, with the camera right at decollete level..

I haven't watched the show yet but I'll admit your focus and description made me look up the the guy.

I kept waiting for a healthy, raw, vegan meal show to hit The Cooking Channnel...here it is!

please tell me that is all tongue-in-cheek?

Oh, I think the raw food movement has been around a lot longer than the hipsters, but they've certainly glommed onto it and pretended they invented it.

It has but I haven't been aware of any major networks giving the genre a food show. Have you?

Not routinely, now that you mention it. Maybe a segment here and there.

That is the point. It draws viewers and high rating.

            (or maybe not)

Well, of course I understand about the cleavage, but why force the viewer to look up somebody's nose? That's what I meant by "reverse equivalent". Instead of I can't look away", it's more like Don't send me up there!"

                1. re: EWSflash

I am a man. I fully understand why it is "good" for me to look at women's cleavage. As for the nose thing, you need to ask your fellow women. Maybe it is a new trend among women. :P Maybe it is like hairy chest.

Tell you what, chem- ask around and let me know what you find out! ;-)

                    1. re: EWSflash

I still haven't gotten to ask women about the hairy chests yet. :)

You go ask your female friends about hairy noses, and I will ask my male friends about cleavage. Women are more honesty toward each others anyway. :P

(You know that I have been messing around, right?)
