eating in Laughlin, Nevada

Hi....meeting friends from various other cities in Laughlin, centrally located, inexpensive hotel rooms....looking for suggestions for where to eat, not the buffets. Thanks.

I like The Range Steakhouse at Harrah's. Very good food!

I totally agree with The Range Steakahouse. Laughlin isn't known for its culinary greatness, but this restaurant has really good food. Also at Harrah's is a Mexican (Blue Baja?) that has the best chips and salsa I've ever had anywhere! I haven't been there but I've heard the upscale gourmet room at the Riverside is also good. Don't know the name.

Good suggestions above. ... And the Gourmet Room at Riverside is called, drum roll, please, the Gourmet Room. lol

Considering this thread has been resurrected after 18 months and the information is outdated, I feel compelled to say the Range has really fallen. ... Have had two straight bad experiences here.

I still stand behing the Steakhouse @ the Ramada Express...have been many times over the past 5-6 years on my stops through town.

The food is consistently good.....quality cocktails...nice breadbasket w/ herbed butter. Salads made tableside...and steaks come s/ sides...
Steaks are cooked well...and the service is the best you will find on the River.....
Unfortunately Laughlin is not known for it's fine dining.....The Steakhouse is one of the best options!
