We will be in Aspen/Snowmass next weekend and need restaurant recommendations for lunches and dinners. We will be bringing along an 8 and a 10 year old who do try new things. I would really like something a little nice for one dinner (i.e. not Boogie's Diner or pizza by the slice). Thanks!

For a nice restaurant, I like six89 in Carbondale. Good food, great wine list and fun. Everyone eats outside there when the weather is nice.

Just ate at this place the past weekend. It was extraordinary. The service was sparkling. The wine list extensive and the food fabulous. We had duck with a cherry BBQ sauce, braised lamb and loved everything. Prices were reasonable for the quality. Dinner for six including two bottles of wine came to $225. If you are near Carbondale (a very nice town) make sure to pay a visit.
