Doing the Four Corners area with Santa Fe and Albquerque thrown into the mix. Saw lots of recs for SF and Alb, but little for Moab and Cortez(for Mesa Verde). Will there be some decent chowish restaurants there? Tahnks, judy

here are some recs for Moab--

Center Cafe, 60 N. 100 West, (435) 335-7464, it's upscale, but very Moab. good food, unpretentious place.

Miguel's Baja Grill, 51 N. Main Street, (435) 259-6546, Utah does Mex really well, this place is a take on the pacific side of mexican cuisine; laid back, casual, big servings.

moab brewery, 686 S. Main Street, (435) 259-6333, classic brewpub with gut-filling food and outdoorsy folks.

    happy eating

Last time we were in Moab we had a really disappointing meal at Center Cafe.
Desert Bistro, on the other hand, was exceptional.

We spent a short time in Moab last fall and had a very nice dinner on the back patio at Buck's Grill House. I would also recommend the huge, wonderful breakfasts at Slickrock Cafe before a day of hiking. I've attached a link for a Moab menu guide website.

We ate at the Desert Bistro and Center Cafe this spring and both were very good. Center Cafe was outstanding.
