Any nice restaurants in Flagstaff?

For a special birthday dinner?
Jeanette: One of the nicest restaurants in Flag--especially for a special occasion--is Chez Marc in old Flag. This converted cottage has several small, charming, wood-floored dining rooms filled with warm ambiance; and a terrific kitchen to complement it. I last dined there about a year ago, and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Duck confit was my entree that night, and I recall it being excellent. Wine list is decent, and prices--although on the high side--not out of line with other restaurants of that caliber. Let me know how it is if you decide to try it!
re: Bruce Farr
A few years ago we were passing through Flagstaff and stopped at a Chinese place in a strip mall for "buffet" lunch. You know, all that steam table stuff for which you never have very high expectations. Well, this one was way different: sushi, peel and eat shrimp, and marvellous selections in the steam table...I don't remember the name or address, but how many Chinese places are there in Flag? It was not in an inspiring neighborhood, but inside it was very nicely appointed, and, as I recall, quite busy.
