San Antonio Burgers!

Traveling through SA in June and needing a good burger to sustain us for the rest of the trip. I've been told that Chris Madrid's and Tycoon Flats are my two best choices. I want to know what the people of SA have to say. Also, I'll be in the Riverwalk area for a couple for hours so I was curious as to which one would I be closest to. But don't worry, I'll drive many a mile for a good burger if I have to. Thanks!

    chris madrids over rated and i dont like to wait in line for 15 min just to order.
    top 3 for me

      We tried Big'z not long after they opened and were extremely unimpressed. The onion rings were pretty darn good but the burgers were just mediocre. Maybe they've gotten better by now.

      My favorite is Big Bobs Burgers on Harry Wurzbach. It is kind of tough to find if you don't know San Antonio. Definitely googlemap it. Phenomenal burgers and fries.

        Thanks for the tip.They had a review of them in the paper not too long ago.i know where it's at,since it's on the way to Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery
        where my parents are buried. Bunsen Burgers on Walzem is good.They are in the shopping plaza with the 99cent only store and someothers are.
        I'll have to go back there soon.

        For something fun look for The Lord's Kitchen on the east side of downtown. Don't know the address but you can look it up. They have great burgers and are very popular with people from BAMC and Fort Sam Houston.

            guess what's closed on Sundays'? Chris Madrid. Now I need a second opinion for Sunday, cause I'll be hungry then

            I don't know where Tycoon Flats is, but Chris Madrid's is not far from downtown. Don't miss it.
