Birthday celebration

Hi all,

I'm looking for a fun place to do a dinner with a small-ish group for a birthday celebration. Preferable characteristics include red line accessible (Harvard, Central, Kendall, or downtown), most entrees under $20, and bonus points if it takes reservations for groups.

My general go to for this kind of thing would be Salty Pig, but I feel like the sharing aspect could be difficult with more than four people. Most of my other favorites are outside of the price point for the group. Some ideas so far include Park, Orinoco, and maybe Kika. Does anyone have reactions to these or other suggestions?

Thank you!

I don't love Kika. Commonwealth right next door is good for sharing, and the food is a lot better. Might stretch the budget a tiny bit, but it's close.

Area Four would be good, I think. No idea about reservations.

Orinoco is a good idea - the food is good and it's super cheap.

Otherwise, maybe Rendezvous? It can be surprisingly affordable, and it has a nicer atmosphere.

On the more casual end, Flatbread is great for affordable, easy group dinners.

we found orinoco's food kinda boring, but we really enjoyed Park. Good atmosphere for Bdays too.
