Timothy's or Shogun in Texarkana?

Has anyone tried either of these? Need recommendations for a good dinner in a nice atmosphere. I definitely plan to try Bryces and Dixie Diner, but would prefer something a bit more "formal" for a first dinner with future in-laws.
THANKS!! Please feel free to email directly also.

  1. Timothy's is very upscale in Texarkana (read "pricy"). Shogun is expensive but not as formal. You can get a semi-good show at Shogun (our chef kept dropping his spatula) but the place I would recommend is George's on Broad.
Nice atmosphere and out of the way.
