Coca Cola Glasses

So CocaCola has commissioned Riedel to sell a glass specifically to enhance the taste of Coke. I wonder if it comes in Diet and Mexican/Sugar as well as Coke Classic?

  1. I thought that was the purpose of the old-fashioned "Coke-shaped" glasses that already exist. Why mess with a classic?

    1. And how many naked emperors will fall for this "croke-of-sh*t"?

I have to admit, I fully intend to buy one for my closest friend for her birthday, because she's positively (and self-admittedly) addicted to Coke and drinks at least one if not more a day, and the idea of her having a special tasting glass for her coke strikes me as hilariously awesome. I'm not sure if that counts as falling for it or not.

PS. K, if you're reading this, forget you read it before November, mmkay?

          This naked emperor-ess.

I may buy some for our cabin (because I don't have awesome friends like Jacquilynne) A Mexican coke on a Saturday morning is something my son and I look forward to. We drink it out of very thin walled juice glasses that were left behind by the prior owner. We both swear it tastes better out of those glasses. (or maybe it has a better feel.)

We have a "special glass" tradition in our family. I remember as a kid my dad would serve my mineral water (German family) out of crystal beer glasses.

      2. No more absurd than the rest of the Riedel hype.

        1. If they are so hell-bent on showing off their product--note the new glasses are only for "regular Coke"--then why don't they make it with sugar again?

Looks like a lava lamp to me.

          1. People will believe anything!
