    Overwrought and overpriced.

    Cocktails are pretty interesting, however.

cocktails interesting for sure. delicious, even.
food tasty. perhaps a little expensive.
overwrought only in the volume of the participants.

+1. You have to order lots of small plates with not so small prices if you don't want to leave hungry.

        I'd rather go to Picca.

Agree. Mo-Chica was the people's champion of Peruvian cuisine back in the Mercado days, but since the move is just a poor man's version of Picca (except it's now similarly priced). I really wish they had kept it simple like before.

Just had lunch here last week and was extremely disappointed. Ordered two ceviches and they were both so sour and acidic, almost couldn't eat them. The octopus came out way overcook, overcharred, and oversalted. The quinoa salad was the best thing we had and wasn't even that great. It's almost like they're not tasting the food they're putting out because the seasoning was so off on everything.

          Major skip.

I liked the old Mo Chica, but the new one downtown just isn't very good.
