Sourced from Rudy Kurniawan and Hardy Rodenstock?

      Interesting.

That address, 12 St. James St., rings a bell with me, but MapQuest is not helping me identify that bell. Will check the address in April.

Sounds like fun, and as the Russians seem to be taking over many restaurants in London/Mayfair, I'll be curious to see how it goes.

      Thanks,

      Hunt

The article states, in part, "An 18-month plan is now underway to open a 250-cover, 200,000 square-foot luxury restaurant fusing English classics and Russian delicacies." Sounds great . . . not. ;^)

In truth, this is the type of restaurant that makes me really uncomfortable -- the wine list is a museum piece, not a wine list, and the only reason to have those wines is to possess them (rather than drink them). But the restaurant will be a home away from home for the proverbial Russian oligarchs, Columbian drug king-pins, and Chinese millionaires and all the other stereotypes that fit that image.

Ahhh - pelmeny and Yquem! Such a combination. Followed (and preceded) by chilled vodka.
